Frequently Asked Questions
Before you join a session or explore this work, it’s natural to have questions. This space is here to support your clarity, comfort, and peace of mind. My intention is to help you feel safe, informed, and fully prepared for your experience. If your question isn’t listed here, you’re always welcome to reach out directly — you will be met with warmth, care, and honesty.
What if I’m a complete beginner?
You are welcome. Everything I teach is designed for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. You don’t need prior experience with meditation, breathwork, or emotional release. You just need an open heart and willingness to explore. I guide you step by step, gently and safely.

Is this safe if I get emotional easily?
Yes. This work is designed for emotional release, not against it. Crying, laughing, shaking, or feeling waves of emotion is normal and healthy. You will never be judged or rushed. Your emotions are welcome here, and I hold a safe, grounded space for anything that arises.

What if I don’t feel anything?
That’s completely normal. Some people feel emotions right away, while others need time to reconnect with themselves. There is no right or wrong way to experience this work. Even if you feel “nothing,” the breath and movement are still working inside your nervous system. Sensitivity grows over time.

What will I experience during a session?
Every session is different. You may feel warmth, tingling, emotion rising, deep relaxation, shaking, or waves of release. Some people laugh, cry, express sound, or feel energy moving through the body. Others simply feel peaceful and open. Your body will do exactly what it needs.

Is emotional expression required?
Emotional expression is not required in breathwork, but it is encouraged and intentionally guided in active meditations such as AUM and Dynamic Meditation. These practices are designed to help the body express what it has been holding through sound, movement, and emotion.
In breathwork, expression happens naturally and spontaneously — you are never pushed or forced. Your body leads the way, and you can stay quiet if that feels right for you.
In active meditations, emotional expression is part of the method. You will be guided to use your voice, movement, and breath to help release stored tension and open your emotional body. Even then, everything is done at a pace that feels safe and respectful to your system. You are always in charge of your own experience.

Is this suitable for men?
Yes, absolutely. All sessions are open to all adults of all genders, ages 18 and up. Many men find this work deeply transformational, especially because they often have fewer spaces to express emotions safely.
Can I participate if I'm pregnant?
Somatic expression and active meditations may not be suitable during pregnancy. Rebirthing Breathwork may also need modifications. Please message me directly so we can discuss the safest option for you.
How long is each session?
Most sessions are120 minutes, depending on the offering. The deeper emotional sessions Dynamic Meditation, Rebirthing Breathwork) are usually 120 minutes. AUM Meditation is 180 minutes.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move and breathe in. Bring water, a journal, pan and an extra t-shirt for our active meditations. For breathwork: a blanket, a yoga mat and eye cover if available.
Can I eat before the session?
It's best not to eat heavy food 2 hours beforehand. Breathwork and emotional release feel easier on a light or empty stomach.
What if I have trauma or anxiety?
This work is trauma-aware and somatically grounded. I guide you gently, safely, and with deep respect for your nervous system. You are always in control. You can pause, slow down, or stop at any moment. If you have severe PTSD or panic disorders, please let me know so I can support you properly.
What if I feel embarrassed about expressing emotions?
You are not alone. Almost everyone feels this way at first. The space we create is warm, private, and judgment-free. Within minutes, you will feel safe. Most people are surprised by how natural expression becomes once the body feels supported.
Can I do sessions privately instead of in a group?
Yes. I offer private 1:1 sessions for anyone who prefers personal guidance, deeper work, or a more intimate setting. The experience can be customized to your needs.
What happens after a session?
After emotional release, you may feel peaceful, tired, open, quiet, or deeply relaxed. Integration is part of the process. Rest, drink water, and give yourself space to feel. Journaling or gentle walking can help everything settle in.
What if I get overwhelmed?
I guide you at a pace that feels right for your nervous system. You are never pushed. You can pause, slow down, or simply breathe until you feel steady again. Your safety comes before everything.
Are these practices connected to any religion?
No. These are somatic, energetic, and breath-based techniques from various traditions, but they are not religious. People of all backgrounds are welcome.
Can I stop the session if it feels too much?
Yes. You are always in charge of your body and your pace. You can pause, slow down, or step out at any time.
How often should I practice?
Everyone is different. Some people come weekly. Others come biweekly or once a month. Consistency is helpful, but listening to your body is most important.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Everything shared or expressed in sessions is private and confidential. The space is safe, sacred, and respectful.
What if I don’t know how to breathe “correctly”?
There is no perfect breath here. I guide you gently. Your breath will naturally find its own rhythm.
Can I join if I’m grieving, stressed, or going through something emotional?
Yes. This work is incredibly supportive during emotional transitions, heartbreaks, grief, anxiety, or life changes. You will be held with compassion.
Is this safe for older adults?
Yes, as long as you are able to move and breathe comfortably. Modifications can always be made.
Can I bring a partner or friend?
Yes, you can attend with someone you trust. Many couples and friends practice together and find it deeply bonding.

Can this help with anxiety or overthinking?
Yes. Breathwork, somatic expression, and dynamic meditations are powerful tools for calming anxiety, reducing overthinking, and bringing the body out of survival mode. Many clients feel lighter, clearer, and more grounded afterward.

What is the difference between emotional release and therapy?
Therapy works with the mind and stories. Emotional release works with the body and stored energy. Many people find that both together create powerful healing. This work is not therapy, but it supports emotional health in a deep and embodied way.

How do I know which session is right for me?
If you want help choosing, message me. I’m happy to guide you toward the session that fits your emotional, physical, or spiritual needs in this season of your life.
