Your breath is the bridge between body and soul. It’s the first thing you do when you arrive in this world and the last thing you do before you leave — yet most of us forget to breathe deeply while we’re alive.
Breathwork reconnects us to life force itself — and through that, to healing.
What Is Emotional Release Breathwork?
It’s a practice of conscious, connected breathing — inhaling and exhaling without pauses. This circular rhythm activates the body’s natural ability to clear emotional residue and stress.
Through consistent breathing, you begin to access suppressed feelings, memories, or sensations that the mind has kept hidden. As oxygen floods the system, old energy surfaces — and the body releases it through sound, movement, or tears.
What You Might Experience
Tingling or temperature shifts (energy moving)
Tetany is a temporary tightening or tingling sensation in the hands, face, or body that can happen during breathwork, especially when breathing is deep and fast.
From a spiritual perspective: Tetany can feel like your heart is opening, energy is moving through your body, or old emotional blocks are releasing. Many people experience it as an expansion into more love, freedom, and presence.
From a scientific perspective: Tetany happens when rapid breathing changes the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in your system. This can cause the muscles and nerves in your hands or face to contract temporarily. It’s completely safe, it passes on its own, and it is very common in conscious breathwork.
In simple terms: Your heart is opening.Your body is oxygenating.Everything is working exactly as it should.
Emotional waves — sadness, tears, laughter, anger, or bliss
Deep relaxation or expanded awareness
Everything that appears is temporary. The breath acts as your guide — showing you where the body is ready to open and what it’s ready to let go of.
Why It Works
From a physiological view, conscious breathing regulates the nervous system, increases oxygenation, and shifts brain states from thinking to feeling. From a spiritual view, it reconnects you with your essence — the part untouched by trauma or conditioning.
What to Expect
Our time together is crafted intuitively and with intention, shaped by your energy and what you’re calling in. When you work with me, it’s a partnership. I hold the space and guide the process, but you are the healer. Your body, your breath, and your willingness lead the way.
In this nourishing session, we’ll begin with a simple explanation of the breathwork practice so you feel safe and confident going in. I’ll help you settle into a comfortable position, ground your energy, and guide you through the entire journey. I’ll also curate a playlist designed to support emotional release and create a deeper connection with your inner world.
We will breathe together for about 45 to 60 minutes, followed by a gentle integration and deep rest of around 10 minutes. Afterward, you’ll have space to share, process, or simply sit with what came up for you.
Below, you’ll find guidance on how to prepare for your breathwork session, what to avoid beforehand, and how to best support yourself after the experience.
How to Prepare
Create Your Sacred Space
Set up a space where you can feel completely comfortable and at ease. Make sure you can lie down, stretch out, and fully be yourself. You may want to bring an eye mask, blanket, or any sacred objects that help you feel grounded and connected to your intention.
Be Punctual and Fully Present
Arrive on time with your camera on so I can support you properly.Keep a pen and journal nearby so you can capture insights, emotions, or anything meaningful that comes up for you.
Prepare Your Body
Avoid eating for at least an hour before we begin.Breathing is much easier and more impactful when your stomach is light and your body isn’t digesting.
Minimize Disruptions
Choose a private space where you won’t be interrupted.Let the people around you know you’re in a session and gently close the door to your space.Give yourself permission to disconnect from the outside world.
Post-Session Integration Time
Try to set aside at least 30 minutes after the session for rest, reflection, and integration. It’s common to fall asleep, feel deeply relaxed, or feel incredibly energized afterward.Whichever way your body responds, give yourself some space.
What to Avoid
Driving or Being in Public
Make sure you’re in a private, safe, comfortable space for the entire session. This work requires your full presence.
Rushing After the Session
Give yourself time to unwind, breathe, and settle.Avoid jumping straight into tasks or conversations.
Ignoring Your Body’s Needs
Your safety and wellbeing matter deeply. If you are pregnant, have a history of seizures, recent surgeries, asthma, PTSD, or major physical or mental health concerns, please check with your doctor before joining breathwork. You know yourself best. If you have any doubts about your health, speak to your primary care provider first.
Skipping Intention-Setting
Take a moment to ask yourself what you hope to receive.Hold that intention gently during our time together.
Holding Back Questions
You’re always welcome to ask anything.Your curiosity and comfort are part of the process.
Aftercare & Support
Energy Integration
Breathwork can move a lot of energy, so be gentle with yourself.Drink plenty of water; electrolytes and a multivitamin can support your body in the days following your session.
Ground & Nourish Yourself

Mindful Connection
Be intentional about who you interact with and what conversations you engage in.Keep your energy light and avoid gossip or draining exchanges. This is your time to stay close to yourself.
Emotional Awareness

Breathwork is not about effort — it’s about allowing. The more you surrender to the rhythm, the more life moves through you. Every session is a homecoming — back to your breath, your truth, and your heart. The way you care for your own heart and nervous system naturally ripples into everyone around you, in ways both seen and unseen.
